Mode Conditioned Patchcords

A Lite-Linke product   Mode Conditioned Patchcords

Description

These assemblies are designed for longwave (1300nm) Gigabit Ethernet LX applications over multimode fibre.
Mode conditioning patchcords reduce the differential mode delay (DMD) by moving the laser launch to an offset position from the core of the multimode fibre, thus reducing the DMD effects.

Features and Benefits

  • Increase transmission distances.
  • Available in 50/125 or 62.5/125 multimode fibres.
  • Avoids DMD signal degradation.
  • Stable, permanent core offset maintained.
  • Low loss performance.
  • IEEE-802.3z Gigabit Ethernet Compliant.
